Product Summary
The Ed Brown Match Grade 1911 Commander-Style Lightweight Hardcore Hammer is a premium replacement part designed for 1911 firearms. It features an improved design with a beautiful chamfer machined both inside and outside the hole, along with a finely serrated commander-style spur for a positive grip. The narrowed sides eliminate slide drag, while the lowered strut pin hole reduces full-cock spring pressure for smoother operation. Manufactured from heat-treated alloy or stainless steel (Rc 52-54), this hammer is precision-machined with sharp corners ready for final stoning. It is specifically designed to be the perfect mate for the Ed Brown 874 Perfection Sear.
