Product Summary
The Ed Brown 1911 Bobtail Magwell Mainspring Housing is a high-quality stainless steel component designed to enhance the comfort and concealability of your 1911. By removing a full 1/2 inch of excess metal from the bottom rear of the frame, it eliminates the sharp butt that often pokes into the ribs during carry. This modification significantly improves concealment while also reducing the overall weight of the firearm. The package includes a specially manufactured housing, a frame modification, and the necessary Officers model mainspring and internals already installed.
